Rochester’s original dance band, the GateSwingers Big Band is an exciting 15-piece band with vocalists and a master of ceremonies. The band features dance music from the 40's, 50's, 60's, and present day for your dancing and listening pleasure.
The GateSwingers play the big band standards in the authentic traditions of the great dance bands like Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and Doris Day.
For more than 30 years, the GateSwingers have been a favorite of upstate New York audiences. The band entertains at all types of venues, from festivals to weddings, from town parks to ballroom dance halls, and formal country club events.
